All year groups enjoyed an online safety assembly from Mr Beardshaw-Brown; reviewing the principles of age-appropriate gaming and PEGI ratings, analysing a range of clips from various games and discussing why they were given their rating. We also reviewed the importance of blocking unwanted users and contacts online, and the importance of screenshotting and telling a trusted adult as appropriate. We also discussed alternatives to screen time and the importance of getting some fresh air! Have a wonderful and safe summer!
