Year 4 have been critiquing and learning by heart the poem ‘I wish I’d looked after me teeth’ by Pam Ayres; developing their performance skills by focusing on criteria such as rhythm, intonation, clarity and actions. A group from each Y4 class performed to the rest of the students – well done to all! The poem links beautifully with our current science learning looking at teeth and the digestive system.
