Science Club – Egg Drop Challenge

Our Science Club took on the classic Egg Drop Challenge, and it was an eggs-traordinary experience! Each group was tasked with designing protective contraptions to keep a raw egg safe when dropped from a height of 6 feet (off a sturdy ladder, of course!). As each egg was released, anticipation was high. Some landings were gentle, some… not so much. A few eggs sadly cracked on impact, but several survived the fall completely intact! Whether their eggs cracked or survived, everyone walked away with new knowledge about gravity, impact force, energy absorption and design thinking. We love hands-on science and can’t wait for the next challenge!
