Year 4 enjoyed a fabulous trip to Slimbridge Wetlands Centre in some wonderful sunshine. Experts taught us about how to identify different birds, their habitats and habits in an interactive workshop. We also spotted multiple species of aviary delights on our self guided tour around the wetlands; keeping a tally of flamingos, swans, robins, doves and many more! We also experienced birdwatching in different ‘hides’ – replicating the experiences of ‘Twitch’, the main protagonist in our class reader.
