For our first week of Story Club, we read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Inside our suitcase, we were able to explore the story through feeling a fur coat, fake snow and looked at Turkish delight.
The hall was filled with lots of laughter and dancing during the pantomime performance today. Thank you to M&M productions for their interpretation of Jack and The Beanstalk. The children (and staff) loved it.
Today, during assembly, the Year Six School Council representatives delivered their speeches to upper and lower school in order to be elected as Chair and Vice Chair. We were very impressed with each candidate’s persuasive speeches and the bravery to stand up in front of their fellow pupils. Well done!…
Our inter-house cross country was another successful event this year. Children showed determination and perseverance as they ran laps of the school field to earn points for their house. Well done to Quedgeley who were this year’s winners.

In preparation for their poetry writing about autumn, Year 6 spent a fabulous day at Robinswood Hill. The weather was kind and the children enjoyed being outdoors, experiencing nature. A great day was had by all.
