The children were captivated by a visit from Tuffley author Phil Barnes who told his amazing story of how, due to his huge passion for writing, he became a published author after spending his lunch breaks as a bus driver writing fiction. This aspirational story was a brilliant message for the children which can be summarised in two words – get writing!
